George Cleverley

Founded in 1958, George Cleverley swiftly rose to become shoemaker to some of the most notable names in high society; a tradition that continues to this day. Now led by George Glasgow Jr, CEO and Creative Director, from their Mayfair shop and the bespoke workshop above, the brand continues to grow in a strong, but conscious and considered way which keeps them true to their core values.

The Adesso Group were first appointed by George Cleverley in 2020 to undertake a Spring/Summer Campaign. Since then, we’ve continued working with the brand to develop a new online store for their core collection, made conscious tweaks to their existing brand to suit a digital and modern setting, as well as fulfil further advertising campaigns, including publications like ‘The Financial Times: How to Spend It’.

The Adesso Group were also to provide an update to several of the brands touch-points. As a part of our commission, we carefully updated the logo mark, typeface, and website copy to coincide with the new digital storefront. We approached this commission with care and consideration for the brands heritage, and ensured our updates were subtle but elegant.
